What sets it apart
In Culprix, the mystery isn’t made up as you play. Every case is written and reviewed before you begin, and the AI game master brings it to life without changing it: it never invents a clue, never confirms a guess, and never steers you toward the answer. The solution is fixed, every mystery is fair and solvable, and the thinking is yours.

About Culprix
Tagline
An AI-driven detective game where you question anyone you like and go wherever you choose to solve the case.
Short description
Culprix is a conversational detective game you play in your own words. Each case is a mystery written in full before you open it: the crime, everyone in it, and the culprit. An AI game master brings each case to life. You go wherever you choose and question anyone you like. Solve the case by naming who did it, why, and how.
Long description
Culprix is a conversational detective game you play in your own words. Choose a world, open a case, and follow the evidence. You decide where to go, who to question, and what to look at more closely. An AI game master brings the case to life, narrating what happens and speaking for the people you meet.
Each mystery is written and reviewed before you begin: the crime, the suspects, the clues, and the culprit. Your questions uncover what happened; they don’t change who did it. There are no hints or ticking clocks. Your Casebook keeps track of the people, places and evidence you encounter, while you decide what it all means.
When you’re ready, name the culprit and explain the motive and method. Your solution is scored against the case’s answers, with partial credit for the motive and method. Then discover what happened and read what the papers make of the outcome.
Each world has its own places, familiar faces, and cases to solve. Play in your browser, on your computer or phone, with nothing to install. Your progress is saved to your account, so you can stop whenever you like and return when you’re ready.
