The Grog Isles

The Caribbean · Golden Age of Piracy · Detective

A scatter of Caribbean islands where the golden age of piracy settled in, got comfortable and opened taverns. Governors govern, pirates pirate (mostly retired, mostly badly), and everyone’s business is public by sundown. The tone is comic; the crimes are real.
